Introduction to quality test:
Plastic pallets are widely used in various industries due to their durability, lightweight, and ease of handling. Methods:
A sample of plastic pallet (BYS-1210TGH) was selected from a manufacturer’s batch. The pallets were subjected to the following quality tests:
Load Capacity Test:
The pallets were loaded with varying weights, and the load was increased gradually until the pallets showed signs of deformation or failure. The test was conducted in accordance with ASTM D1185-98(2017) standards.
Impact Test:
The pallets were dropped from a height of 1 meter onto a concrete surface to test their impact resistance. The test was conducted in accordance with ISO 2236:2010 standards.
Static Load Test:
The pallet is loaded with a static weight of 6000 kg for 24 hours to test their resistance to deformation and durability.
Dynamic Load Test:
The pallet is placed on the forklift in working state, bearing the weight of 2000kg, after bearing for ten minutes, the pallet will not be bent and damaged.
Racking Load: 1500kg
Results:
The plastic pallets passed all the quality tests. The load capacity test showed that the pallets could withstand a weight of up to 2000 kg without deformation or failure. The impact test showed that the pallets could withstand impact without cracking or breaking. The static load test showed that the pallets could withstand a weight of 6000 kg without deformation or damage.
Conclusion:
The plastic pallets tested in this report meet the required quality standards and can be used safely in various industries. It is recommended that quality testing is conducted periodically to ensure that the plastic pallets maintain their quality over time.
